Good news if you like to upgrade your handphone

DO YOU find yourself always hankering after the latest handphone models?

M1 has launched a novel plan that allows its subscribers to change their phones regularly.

The service, Take3, does not require customers to buy any handsets.

All they need to do is to sign up for a 'Take3' plan, and they can choose any phones that are listed under that plan.

And after nine months, subscribers can exchange the set for a new phone, for a nominal fee.

If they do so after 20 months, the exchange will be free.

Take3 plans start from as low as $19.26, and are applicable to most handsets that are sold in M1 shops.

Ms Karen Kooi, M1's acting chief executive officer, said: 'Take3 puts the interest of our customers first and gives them what they want, the flexibility that is not currently available in the market.

'They can now choose not to purchase any handset but yet have the privilege of using any of the latest handset models.'
