First, nude pictures of him were leaked online. Now, local Netizens are claiming him to be the infamous 'Gary Ng' behind the posting of some 33 sex videos on an obscene website.

Local host Wu Luo Yi found himself at the receiving end of more unwanted attention this week as Netizens began linking his name to the infamous video clips.

When local Chinese daily Shin Min Daily News interviewed the Superhost celebrity in Bangkok, Wu told the paper that his friends had already sent him links to the websites alleging his involvement.

The celebrity host told the Chinese paper that he felt very wronged when he first heard the news.

"I'm all right now. Many other celebrities have been through similar cases but emerged better and made a mark for themselves despite such unfavourable news."

Wu also told Shin Min that the incident is likely to stir up some conversation topics about him, but since he had done no wrong, he had nothing to fear.

Earlier last month, a Netizen going by the name of Gary Ng posted 33 sex videos of himself on an obscene website.

The man behind the clips claimed to be a Singaporean working in the banking industry.

Armed with keyboards and an Internet connection, this is not the first time Netizens have affected the careers of celebrities with their online rumours.

Last year, Korean actress Choi Jin-sil killed herself in her apartment, depressed after a divorce and online rumours that said she was pressing an actor relentlessly to repay money she had lent him.
