Expensive mobile data plans are now a thing of the past. For just $19.90, StarHub customers can now enjoy up to 1GB of data access on any smartphone with the telco's new MaxMobile Premium plan.

MaxMobile Premium allows customers with multimedia mobile phones, such as the Nokia E75, to access on-the-go mobile broadband services such as push email, surfing the Internet, instant messaging or online social networking.

Starhub also offers customers the assurance of a mobile data usage price cap so that users will not be exposed to bill shock should they exceed their monthly data allowance. Users will only pay a maximum of $36.38 a month regardless of the amount of data they use locally.

"Our MaxMobile Premium data plan is customer-friendly that offers customers peace of mind with 1GB of data access for just $19.90 a month and a capped price of $36.38 a month," said Mr Chan Kin Hung, Head of Personal Solutions and Advanced Multimedia Services at StarHub.

"We believe StarHub with its richest content offering and peace-of-mind pricing for mobile data products delivered over our superior HSPA+ mobile network, offers the best mobile multimedia experience in town."

Specially packaged for professionals and entrepreneurs, the MaxMobile Premium plan is available from Apirl 18 at all StarHub Shops and Exclusive Partners' outlets.

Launch of Nokia N75 Messaging Phone

StarHub will also be launching the Nokia E75 Messaging Phone together with its new mobile plan.

Ideal for professionals and entrepreneurs, the E75 allows easy access to one's email, comes pre-loaded with email clients and features a full qwerty keyboard.

Mr Chan added, "Besides the intuitive Nokia messaging service, the Nokia E75 phone also allows users to enjoy a full range of multimedia services including quick access eight StarHub TV on Mobile channels (CNN, CNBC, CNA, Football Channel, Goal TV 1, Goal TV 2, CTI and Animax) for just $1 a day."

The Nokia E75 will retail at all StarHub outlets beginning April 18.
