MANY Singapore Press Holdings websites were the most-visited local websites in the second half of last year.

AsiaOne's food site SoShiok.com, Chinese daily Lianhe Zaobao's website zaobao.com, classifieds listings site ST701.com and technology site hardwarezone.com topped their respective categories in the Hitwise Top 10 Website Awards. These had also hogged the top spots in the first half of last year, and the whole of 2008.

Also top: online TV news channel RazorTV, AsiaOne's health site and hardwarezone.com's online forums.

The awards are given out twice a year by international online-research specialist Experian Hitwise.

Other AsiaOne sites that ranked within the top 20 include Diva and AsiaOne's digital site.
