Bose QC3 Acoustic Noise-Cancelling Headphone

Why it is hot: The Quiet Comfort 3 (QC3) is the third generation of Bose's pioneering noise-cancelling headphones. Built-in circuitry in such headphones cuts down background noise, thus creating a sound environment that allows the music to emerge with greater depth and clarity.

The QC3 takes comfort to a higher level. QC1 had a cumbersome noise-cancelling module and large ear-cups. QC2 incorporated the sound module into the headset, which was also reduced in size. QC3 further shrank the ear-cups and added more comfortable padding with on-ear fitting.

In addition, the rechargeable battery pack (a detachable part of one ear-cup) provides up to 20 hours of use on one charge.

How much: $699
