Fujitsu's deskpower K50Y

YOU can make space on your office desk by packing some things away. Or you can always buy a bigger desk.

Fujitsu has come up with a third solution to the problem: It's deskpower K50Y. The desktop computer alleviates the space-crunch by combining the CPU with the computer screen.

Packed into its 19-inch LCD screen are a CPU with a 2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, up to 2GB memory and 320GB hard disk. There's also a dual layer super multi optical drive that slides out from the side of the screen.

Besides cutting clutter, Fujitsu says the computer also helps to cut some 40 per cent of power consumption.

  • Available at $1,888. For more information, visit sg.fujitsu.com/pc
