Voxel is basically a cube and it is actually a rendering technique. Everything you see in the game will be made out of tiny cubes. This technique is supposedly more efficient than polygons for rendering large objects and everything in the game is destructible!

Voxelstein 3D is based on Wolfenstein 3D - you break out of your cell with a knife killing the officer and getting his gun. Then you proceed through the level killing off bad guys.

Since the game is a tech demo of the use of Voxels, you only have one life. So far I can't seem to respawn, so you would have to press the Esc key to exit the game, then run the VXLST3D.exe again.

The game plays on both keyboard and mouse, with the E key as the use function, the Ctrl key for crouching, the Spacebar for jumping, and the F key gets you the flashlight.
