HP mini-note 2133

Price: $999

Touch me, this very small laptop seems to say, with its brushed anodised aluminium body giving you a cool come hither.

Unlike the colourful plastic feel of machines from rival stables, this metallic baby oozes sex appeal.

The mini-note comes in Windows Vista Home, packs in 120GB of hard drive space, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth (optional) and has both an SD as well as an Express Card slot - all the features the road warrior needs.

However, the VIA processor doesn't thrill, especially when rivals are offering the Intel Atom. If looks could kill, the 2133, which looks like it's worth $2,500, definitely murders.
