SingTel releases price plans for Apple's new iPad Air 2 and mini 3

Apple said its new iPad Air 2 is thinner than its rivals, with upgraded graphics power and other features.

SINGAPORE - Apple's flagship tablets, the iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3, will be available in Singapore today at all SingTel stores.

The telco released its price plans today, with a monthly instalment plan as part of its offer.

A 16GB Wi-Fi version of the iPad Air 2 will cost $688 on Apple's online store, but SingTel subscribers to its 5GB 4G plan will only have to pay $229 for the one-time down-payment, and a monthly instalment of $15, over 24 months, totalling to $589.

The prices for the one-time down-payment decrease even more with its 10GB plan.

The monthly cost for SingTel's 5GB and 10GB plans is $29.90 and $49.90 respectively.

Besides the instalment offer, SingTel subscribers will also be able to tap on its unlimited Wi-Fi network to July 31, 2015. The subsequent cap will only come with 2GB allowance.
