Until recently, DirectX 10 cards like those using Nvidia's GeForce 8800GTX chip can cost up to $1,000 because of the immense graphics power they offer. In the past few months, however, there have been more DirectX 10 cards available, and at much more attractive prices.
For those who are less price conscious, there are also components that bring on the bling.
